Which country has the highest corruption levels?

The most corrupt countries in the world and have a bad reputation for corruption, always have a spotlight on them. This means that the general population is constantly on the lookout for corruption within each and every political deal. People are naturally more sceptical in corrupt countries, their people are constantly looking for it, even when it’s not there, this keeps even the most corrupt countries somewhat honest.

This forces some corrupt politicians into a corner, where they end up using force against their people, which inevitably ends in some form of international backlash. International media criticisms and sometimes sanctions from other countries.

The truly corrupt politicians don’t have a sceptical population, which means they can get away with far more than the countries with an already sceptical populous. Some countries have a good reputation as safe and clean law-abiding countries, when in fact the real problem is, these countries are too wealthy and their populous is lazy.

If no one is looking for corruption, no one will ever find it. This is where the worlds most corrupt politicians are and this is why they are unknown to the rest of the world. But in this post, I’d like to tell you about one of the most alleged corrupt politicians in the world.

Australia is One of the Most Corrupt Countries on Earth

Allegedly Gladys Berejiklian was Australia’s most corrupt politician, as the time of writing this, she has resigned from being NSW premier to undergo a thorough investigation by ICAC (independent commission against corruption). That’s the only reason why I’m saying ”allegedly” because Australia is so corrupt that politicians would take someone to court and actually win, even though what the person was saying was correct. So, we don’t have a proper charge against Gladys Berejiklian but I believe there will be and she will be found guilty of something.

Gladys Berejiklian’s phone was being tapped from 2019 onwards from what I’m aware of and 12 months later in 2020 ICAC went public with their investigation. Throughout 2020 Gladys Berejiklian professed her innocence, even though some of the evidence the media was covering was quite damming.

Even more, damming is, Gladys Berejiklian hired one of the best lawyers in Australia named ”Bret Walker SC” and he apparently charges approximately $25,000 per day according to the mainstream media. This in my opinion, is proof of how dirty the entire system is, the fact that someone can be investigated by an independent corruption organisation and then the Australian people end up paying for her defence.

Let’s just put it this way, if she’s found guilty of even the smallest of things, this is evidence that she did some extremely corrupt things in the past. Because a good lawyer can save almost anyone, having the best lawyer in the country, means that even the worst crook will get away with it. Unfortunately, this is how the world works, there’s no such thing as right or wrong, it’s whoever has the most money and support that wins.

Gladys Berejiklian Was Asked To Download Wechat

Daryl Maguire who was dating Gladys Berejiklian at the time was lobbying her for many projects to be paid for. He obviously knew that what he was doing was corruption, this is why he was constantly paranoid that his phones would be tapped by ICAC. On many occasions Gladys Berejiklian conspired with him, to divert millions of dollars to many projects that had been rejected by bureaucrats.

Gladys Berejiklian used her power to overrule projects in favour of Daryl Maguire. Clearly, he knew he was doing something wrong and clearly from the audio recordings, he warned Gladys that what she was doing was corruption. This is why he asked her to download ”the little green man” (wechat).

In my opinion, two things need to be taken note of here. If Gladys Berejiklian was able to do these types of things with Daryl Maguire, she would, in my opinion, have the ability to do this with many other projects. This means that this is most probably the tip of the iceberg and the other things Gladys did will never be found, but at least we can get her on something.

The second thing is, the NSW premier has way too much power, it’s scary to find out that one person can have this much power over the state of NSW. The fact that she thought that she could simply overrule whatever she liked and move money wherever she wanted to, is extremely concerning to me. If we want to avoid Australia becoming more corrupt, we need to dilute the power a premier has.

Corrupt Australian Politicians Phones Tapped

As you can see in the video above, she was diverting public funds all over the place. He asked for a conservatorium, she took Australian funds for it. He asked for $10 million for a project, she took public funds for that too. Clearly, when you look at the video, it’s obvious this was some dirty deals that should never been happening. I bet this was only the tip of the iceberg too.

Scott Morrison – Innocent Until Proven Guilty

In an outrageous attempt to intimidate the anti-corruption investigation, Scott Morrison (Australian prime minister during the 2019-2022 ICAC investigation) went public with his criticisms of how ICAC had dealt with Gladys Berejiklian. Both are from the same political party ”the liberal party”.

The irony here is, we have innocent Australians being arrested and put in jail for 30 days at a time when they had been found to have not committed a crime. We even had poor Australians have their businesses shut down, then get massive fines for not wearing a mask, Scott Morrison had no problem with that. That’s right Scott Morrison had no problem with innocent Australians being locked up for no reason, yet he jumps in to defend such a privileged, wealthy, powerful person like Gladys Berejiklian.

More evidence Australia is a corrupt country. And our politicians have way too much power.

Does Australia have an anti corruption agency?

For the state of NSW yes, but there is not one for the federal government. And the Australian prime minister, after seeing this corruption investigation by ICAC, decided to do everything in his power to make sure the federal government doesn’t have an independent corruption commission.

Which is more evidence that the federal government has so much to hide too.

I Suffered From Gladys Berejiklian’s Corruption Personally

I’m currently a disabled man who has had two hip replacements and my right knee will need to be replaced eventually too. I’ve been in chronic pain for a decade and going on still today. In the past, I had a job working for the government when I first discovered that I had pain in my hip. The government fired me for giving them a medical certificate, saying that I needed a hip replacement. They kicked a long term employee out on the street, without warning, without notice. I was told to get out immediately, as in within 30mins.

Imagine that, you turned up to work one day and 30 mins later you are outside wondering what happened. This happened to me and it didn’t happen in some 3rd world, backwards country, it happened in Australia. The boss of the CEO of the company I worked for was Gladys Berejiklian, so I went to see her after having my hip replacement. She knew that what happened to me was a human rights issue and because of all the possible media damage such a human rights issue this would be for her, she instead decided to cover it up, based on perhaps the assumption that I wouldn’t have the money to fight it.

She was right, I had to live in poverty, at the absolute bottom of Australian society for almost a decade and Gladys Berejiklian is responsible for this.

Anyway, I’m glad that her dodgy ways are being exposed for what they are. Finally…
